A best wishes for 2012 video from Being There. Awesome ski, some relaxed rails in the middle make it for me. WARNING: ARTSY
You would be cray not to check this video out.

This video has done rounds on the internet last week. Well worth remembering though. Takes a little while to figure out what is going on, but they are ‘walking’ on ice upside down. Yeah. Worth a watch.
Filmed at Whistler forever ago, but only making tracks in the last few days. An excellent, and hyper artsy. A great 6 minutes collection of some well-good concept shots. Cool.
Bear style. Enjoy your public holiday.
Another pick from the slew of 2011 christmas videos. This one is good – a 17yo from North America recorded a cover of ‘Little Drummer Boy’ – playing all instruments and mixing himself. How keen.
A well good upbeat listen, even if you don’t get down with the lyrics.
A little while back, I posted the Urban Ski segment from Sherpa Cinema’s awesome ‘All I Can’ ski film. It was making all kinds of wavves around the internet, but it was uploaded by a random punter, probably would not stay up for long. This was correct.
However, the folks at Sherpa Cinema have uploaded their own copy of Urban Ski, in glorious HD. Definitely worth re-enjoying in HD.
Like all James Cameron films, ALIENS was originally intended for low budget ice performance, but the studio wouldn’t let Cameron create his films the way he envisioned. So he relies on small theater troupes to remix the films onto ice.
I think they may have been somewhat inebriated to think this was a good idea. Nevertheless, The ALIENS movie does translate OK to ice performance it seems. Excellent costumes, looks like a mammoth effect to set up.
Performed by the Old Murder House Theatre group (check out their facebook)
UPDATE – See the video in HD here, Sherpa Cinema took down the original video link.
This video, a snippet from Sherpa Cinema’s ‘All I Can’ epic ski film – is super dangerous, and of course very artsy. It’s uploaded by a random punter, and is getting noticed all around the web (the twitter, the reddit, kotke). Enjoy it while you can, and consider downloading ‘All I Can’ for even more goodness (though this is one of the best scenes).
