An artsy piece from Armoury on Vimeo.
Some distressing artsy shots of people with knives, though the video does not end as expected. Instead, an amazing and kinda inspiring finish. Good form!

AKA Scott Weaver’s Rolling through the Bay – a ridiculous toothpick model representing San Francisco, built over 35 years with more than 100,000 toothpicks.
It almost feels like cheating to watch a video of it instead of visiting it.
You may have heard of Iceland. It’s actually a real place! THIS GIRl went on a 21 day hike there in 2011, and created this majestic film. It goes for 15 minutes, and shows some epic scenery. Got time to chill? Got some jealousy to throw her way? Watch it.

Remember the amusing not-promo for the Canon EOS C300? Well this short film was shot entirely on a EOS C300, and really shows how the $20,000 camera is no toy.
HAHA JOKES I DON’T FULLY UNDERSTAND.
In early Fall 2011, I shot some footage with a pre-production model of the Canon EOS C300 for one week in NYC. I created an article and a video for Canon based on my experiences with the camera. The video is meant to poke fun at most camera test videos I’ve seen over the years. Canon, not thrilled with my sense of humor, does not credit or condone this video, but I think it shows a lot of the camera’s strengths.
Sexy HD from the Canon EOS C300, some awesome cinematography and dark techy humour. Awesome.
See what the $20,000 camera looks like after the jump.
You are supposed to like this. Frank Ocean (http://vimeo.com/frankocean). It’s not as amazing as novacane but still very decent and at least free of explicit spelling errors (again, novacane).
Song certified good, film clip certified probably too artsy. Still definitely worth a sneaky background listen.
Don’t forget how beautiful Afghanistan is, despite… war. It’s an amazing place, dusty roads and orchards, with a backdrop of epic mountain ranges.
It is chilling to watch a video such as this, and consider how dehumanized your view of Afghanistan has become after reading or watching hundreds of news reports.
Sad.
This video was created for some Coke (soda) contest. It’s shot on an iPhone 4, but is super pretty regardless, even in full HD. Fairly decent use of twixtor to slow-mo the footage.
Eat your heart out GoPro. Made by this french artsy type – WillianK. Found via a friend.
