In theory, this is covered by fair use. As a commentary “This video aims to show just how much impact a song as epic as Someone Like You can motivate hundreds (this is only a sampling!) of persons to create their own interpretation.” And by keeping each sample quite short, and most importantly, FROTHTELEVISION is NON-COMMERCIAL. (whoa capitals!) and should not impact the potential market for, or value of, the covers used.
